12/8/02 Rod Coleman Signed Game Used Football - Raiders vs. Chargers (PSA)
Official NFL football, used in a game between the Oakland Raiders and San Diego Chargers, on December 8, 2002, presented to and signed by Raiders defensive tackle Rod Coleman. Coleman had 1.5 sacks in the Raiders' dominating 27-7 win over the Chargers at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego, and after the game he was presented with a game ball for his efforts. The Raiders had the ball specially stamped for Coleman on a side panel, which reads "Game Ball/Oakland Raiders 27/San Diego Chargers 7/Presented to/Rod Coleman/December 8, 2002." Coleman has inscribed the ball in black marker (grading 6/10) on the panel directly below: "Rod Coleman 25/12-8-02." The Raiders won the AFC Championship in 2002, but fell short in the Super Bowl, losing 48-21 to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The ball displays heavy wear and is partially deflated.
