Famed assemblage for the “International Contest Between Heenan & Sayers at Farnborough, on the 17th of April 1860.” Printed 1860 by George Newbold. 43x32”. Copy of the original key on the back identities the detailed faces of the assembled patrons including many legendry pugilists: Nat Langham, Editor of Bell’s Life, Ned Donnelly, John Morrisey, Jem Mace, James Ward and many more. Slightly wrinkled, with spotted staining, but visually very pleasing. VG-EX.
