1870s Tennis Meerschaum Pipe in Original Case
A rare and beautiful find, this Meerschaum pipe dates as far back as the 1870s. The depicted tennis scene is hand-carved in amazingly intricate detail, and this is the first of its type that we have seen. Measuring 4" long, there is no mouthpiece but it comes in its original wood case, with the fastening clasp still functional. This is a masterpiece of form and artistry.
