Tremendous history surrounds this pass, which is from the first World's Fair held in the US, to celebrate the nation's centennial in 1876. The fair was held in Cincinnati, Ohio, and the Director-General was Alfred T. Goshorn, was was also the owner of the National League's Cincinnati Red Stockings. This 4.25x2.75" card is dated October 29, 1876, and bears a reproduced signature of Gorshon on the bottom right, with an actual black fountain pen signature in the bottom left corner. PSA/DNA encapsulated as authentic, the pass is in EX condition and an amazing keepsake linking to a figure who was significant in both sporting and civic life in the Queen City.
