1880s Bicycling Stevensgraph
From the fine sports series featuring both baseball and football. Beautiful silk bookmark by the craftsmen Thomas Stevens who made thousands (if not millions of theses commemorative). Entitled,”The Last Lap” this features gaily colored bicyclists. In the rarely seen original matt with advertising on verso and lists the pothers in the sports series. Matte (8x5”) has some chipping and soiling but displays nicely. The silk itself is NRMT.
