1880s Football Trophy Humidor
This magnificent item is one of the most attractive football pieces we have ever offered. Marvelous raised design appears to be an 1880s Harvard game. This series is the first known example of Football silver and is actually a trophy of sorts. Has "N.U.S" initials on the lid making this a superb football presentation piece. Has original key in beautiful condition. Inside is lines with green felt, which was done later. This is a grail piece in the football realm for sure. 6 3/4" x 3" x 5 3/8", stamped Reed and Barton.
