1880s Piano Teacher Reverse-Painting-on-Glass Advertising Sign
This is a wonderful reverse-painting-on-glass trade sign from the Victorian era. Absolutely charming, gold and black, advertises "Melle." which is the French abbreviation for mademoiselle. Wooden frame with beautiful antique patina reads, "Melle. C. Fortier Professeur de Piano." Overall condition is EX+ and measures 12x19".
