Cream colored invitation created by Tiffany & Co. for the May 24th, 1883 New York and Brooklyn Bridge Opening Ceremonies. Addressed to ,“Mr. W.C. Church”, in black fountain pen with additional “May, 1883” ink marking on top. Includes a detailed illustration of what was the world’s longest suspension bridge along with the seals of the two boroughs. Lightly and evenly toned around borders with minor ink and pencil markings on the reverse. EX.
