1886 Brooklyn vs. St. Louis Baseball Program

1886 Brooklyn vs. St. Louis Baseball Program

A month before President Grover Cleveland dedicated the Statue of Liberty, the Brooklyn Trolley Dodgers and St. Louis Browns played a baseball game on September 11, 1886 just a few miles away. This scorecard from that game - won by St. Louis, 6-4 - features some classic names from the game's infancy... names such as Charles Comiskey, Bill Gleason, Tip O'Neill and Yank Robinson. The 127-year-old card is hand-scored in pencil and is in EX condition.
