Kalamazoo Bats are highly sought-after by collectors due to their beauty and distinctive poses. Offered is an unbelievable collection of six 1887 N690 Kalamazoo Bats. This is a fresh collection that we recently had graded for our consignor. These were found twenty-five years ago in one group by our consignor and they have been resting safely ever since. We are proud to offer these turn of the century beauties at public auction for the first time. All are members of the Philadelphia Quakers team and are blank-backed. Clements SGC 70 EX+, Andrews SGC 60 EX, Wood SGC 60 EX, Bastian/Lyons SGC 60 EX, Mulvey SGC 50 VG-EX, and Fogarty/McGuire SGC 50 VG-EX. All have clear images and appear nicer than their technical grade. Before this group of six, SGC had only graded nine Kalamazoo Bats total therefore emphasizing the rarity of the issue and the importance of this lot. Andrews, Mulvey, and Wood are the only examples graded to date by SGC. You may never see a group this large offered again.
