1887 Kalamazoo Bats N690 Joseph Mulvey (SGC 4)
<p><span style="font-size: 13px;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;">One of the most hard to find 19th century baseball cards, this Kalamazoo Bats card features Philadelphia third baseman Joseph Mulvey. </span><span style="background-color: #ffffff; font-family: Verdana; color: #222222;">Mulvey broke into the major leagues with the Providence Grays </span><span style="background-color: #ffffff; font-family: Verdana; color: #222222;">of the National League</span><span style="background-color: #ffffff; font-family: Verdana; color: #222222;"> in 1883. Overall, he played for 5 teams over a 13-year span, and had a career batting average of .261. </span><span style="font-family: Verdana;">Card reads, "Mulvey, 3d B., Phila. - Copyright 1887 by Chas. Gross & Co. - Smoke Kalamazoo BATS." </span><span style="font-family: Verdana;">Front of the card has a very nice appearance with only slight rounding of the corners. </span><span style="font-family: Verdana;">Overall a clean looking card.
