1888 Allen & Ginter N29 Near Complete Set (41)
In 1888, Allen & Ginter released its second World Champions set. These stunning lithographed cards featured the prominent athletes of the day in baseball, boxing, tennis, cycling, track, and more. This group contains 43 different examples from the set including the six baseball cards, all of which were part of a framed display from years ago and are attached to a light cardboard stock. The condition is beautiful from what we can see, with many NRMT fronts. The Baseball Fronts grade Ewing EX-MT, Miller NRMT, Fogarty NRMT, Morrell NRMT, Ryan NRMT and Getzin NRMT. The rest of the group is similar in grade with many NRMT examples throughout.
