1888 N29 Allen and Ginter World's Champions Tobacco Album
Much harder to find than the N28 album issued the year before. Issued in conjuction with the "Second Series" of World's Champions, each card is pictured inside along with a colorful sport themed background. Includes Baseball (Buck Ewing, Getzin, Ryan, Fogarty, Morrell, Miller) Tennis Players (Pettitt, Sears, Slocum, Dwight) Cyclist (Stone, Crocker, etc), Boxers (Billy Edwards, McGee, Blanche, J. Murphy, F Murphy, Duffy, Kerrigan, Havlin) and more. There is a light crease on the front cover near the string binding and extending to the bottom border (by far the biggest flaw) and a few small surface scratches. Back cover is fine, interior pages are clean. No tears. EX/EX+ overall. Great piece!
