The 1888 Constitution and Playing Rules of the National League of Professional Base Ball Clubs, Official. Great, early pro baseball publication from A.G. Spalding & Bros. Includes player stats from 1887, game results from 1886 & 1887, the schedule for 1888 and a uniform and equipment catalog. Front cover has a corner tear at top left and bottom right and some discoloration along the bottom edge. Back cover has a small tear at lower left corner and some discoloration at the binding and lower edge. Binding is holding well, but top and bottom just starting to come apart. Rest of the book is intact with no tears or missing corners. 100+ fascinating pages. Nice!
