1889 Brooklyn Base Ball Club Score Book - Nicest One You'll See
This pristine score book is also a year book, fully illustrated with photographs and sketches of the Brooklyn Base Ball Club. It is a yearbook style publication for an American Association game against the Baltimore Orioles, consists of thirty-two pages of player photos and information. This official score book was expensively executed, with interior pages featuring full-page individual portraits and brief player biographies, along with local advertising. The program contains fifteen individual portrait photos including McGunnigle (manager), Foutz, Terry, Pinkney, Smith, O'Brien. Caruthers, Burns, Collins, Corkhill, and Clark. The interior preprinted scorecard includes O'Brien, Foutz, Pinkney, and Burns for Brooklyn, and Griffin, Shindle, Tucker, and Mack for Baltimore. Neatly scored in pencil, otherwise NRMT condition.
