1890's Whiskey Flask Presented to James J. Corbett
Weighty vessel was given to the famed boxer at some point between his assumption of the title, following the twenty-one round k.o. of John L. Sullivan, in 1892 and his loss to Bob Fitzsimmons in 1897. Silver-plated sleeve at base is engraved with two box-ing gloves and the words "James J. Corbett, Champion of the World, From a Friend." Rare cherished former belonging of one of the ring's early heroes. VG-EX.
