Fabulous display (matted and framed 24.5x30") features an oversized studio portrait (13.25x10.25" visible) and one-page handwritten letter (9x7.25" visible), both signed during the Gentleman's tenure as Heavyweight Champion of the World in the Gay Nineties.Awesome image of the handsome champ with his arms folded is stamped, "Copyright 1893 By W.M. Morrison, Chicago" and signed "Yours Truly, Jas. J. Corbett" in 8.5/10 black ink.In his intriguing letter, Corbett praises the Rochester Athletic Club for the superlative of its "striking bag drum" and signs "Yours Truly, Jas. J. Corbett, Champion of the World" in 9.5/10 black fountain pen.
