1890s London Newspaper Advertising Statue

This fabulous hand-painted bisque figure shows a local newsboy hawking his daily papers. Pinpoint detail down to his slogan singing mouth and news-of-the-day inscribed ruffled newspaper as well as the separate newspapers under the left arm. The base is 5" x 5" and the statue stands 13" tall, weighing just under three bounds. For the Evening Edition it is entitled "6. P. M." (inscribed on the base) and has small chip on back, otherwise in NRMT condition.
