1893 John L. Sullivan Signed Photograph
Exquisite original silver gelatin print of the great John L Sullivan looking exceptionally dapper in his top hat, dress pants, shoes, gloves and jacket. His right hand holds a fancy walking cane as he is posed in front of an Impressionist background. He is the consummate gentleman. Photo remains on its original mount from 1893. The mount is signed "Compliments of John L. Sullivan, Age 35 years, To My Friend Parker King." Both the signature and inscription are 9/10 black ink. Photo (3-5/8 x 5-1/4") and mount are EX-MT and museum framed (17-7/8 x 20-7/8") and matted.
