Peter Jackson, the great early African-American heavyweight champion, is the subject of this masterful print by artist A.D. Bastin. Jackson is posed in full fight form in his ring togs. Published by Cadbury, Jones & Company in London in January, 1894. Signed by the artist and featuring a facsimile signature of Peter Jackson. Some minor spotting from age and a small light stain on the right side outside the image. 18" x 24."
