1897 Corbett-Fitzsimmons Postcard with Nat Fleischer Autograph Note on Verso
Rare real photo postcard pictures these two for their upcoming fight “Fight of the Century.” Verso is stamped “The Ring” with 7-line handwritten ink description in the hand of Ring mastermind Nat Fleischer. Talks critically about the simultaneous reenactment of the fight with former British champion Professor Alfred Austin in the role of Corbett and whether he “really saw the films of that fight.” Unposted and NRMT.
