1897 Lithopane Football Mug
One of the most interesting football pieces you will see. Pewter tankard is engraved on the front, "HUFBA Class Championship 1897 Won by Ninety Nine G.W. Thompson 2B." However, most wondrously, when you look through the glass bottom you see a stellar image of the team itself in sumptuous detail. Glass bottom tankards were created so men in pubs (heroes and villains alike) could see their enemies as they approached (while their mugs were tipped).
