1899 John L. Sullivan Handwritten & Signed Letter (PSA)
The last bare-knuckle champ penned this one-page letter on "Hotel Dante & Dante's Inferno Cafe" letterhead to his attorney Frank McElroy regarding the champ's failure to remit payment for legal services. John L. appears to have taken umbrige with McElroy's previous letter and lets his feelings be known writing, "...it made me think you were not very friendly to me." Later, he offers an olive branch and pens "However, in the meantime, come over and have a small bottle and a good cigar with me." Signed large and bold in NRMT black fountain pen, "John L. Sullivan." Customary mailing folds. Full LOAs from James Spence Authentication and PSA/DNA.
