18th Century Humphreys vs. Mendoza Watercolor
Beautiful watercolor depicting the famous battle between Richard Humphreys & Daniel Mendoza fought at Odiham in Hampshire on January 9th 1788. Reads, "Humphreys v. Mendoza at Odiham - 9th Jan 1788." Previously on display during the "Art of Boxing" exhibition at The Emily Lowe Gallery in 1978. Watercolor measures 6.25x7.75" and is tastefully framed to 16x16.75" overall.
