18th Century Spanish Cannon

18th Century Spanish Cannon

Splendid example of 18th century Spanish militaria, this small cannon was mounted on castle walls of the period. Looks exactly like a regular cannon but is 18" long and 3" in diameter at its widest point, making it incredibly practical for display yet still with the taste of the period. Made of cast iron, it was recently discovered in Puerto Rico.
