/19/21 Joe Burrow "Unwashed" Cincinnati Bengals Game Worn Jersey vs. Denver Broncos (Davious Sports Photo-Matched LOA)

Offered is the opportunity to possess a Joe Burrow "unwashed" Cincinnati Bengals game worn jersey from the Bengals' 15-10 victory over the Denver Broncos at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver on 12/19/21. This chance for a Burrow game worn jersey is incredibly scarce, as not many are offered in public auction. This late-season match-up was a key game in Cincinnati's march to Super Bowl LVI at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif. Burrow went 15-22 for 157 passing yards and a touchdown. Burrow also ran for 25 yards in the contest, his regular season high. Burrow started his college career at Ohio State and then transferred to LSU for his final two seasons. He had an astounding 2019 senior season and won these awards: Heisman Trophy, Maxwell Award, Walter Camp Award, Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award, Davey O'Brien Award, Manning Award, and the Lombardi Award. Burrow also took LSU to its 2020 College Playoff Championship victory. Cincinnati made Burrow the first overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. Mike Brown, an owner of the Bengals and the son of Paul E. Brown, a Pro Football Hall of Fame coach, and a man who had a part in founding the Bengals, said of Burrows, "He's everything you wish for." In the 2021 season Burrow proved Mike Brown to be correct. After a 2020 campaign in which Burrow only played 10 games because of an ACL injury, he came back in his sophomore NFL campaign with a blazing breakout season in 2021, playing in 16 games and winning the 2021 NFL Comeback Player of the Year Award. In the just completed season, Burrow completed 366 of 520 passes for 4,611 yards, 34 touchdowns and only 14 interceptions. He led the Bengals to the Super Bowl, where the team lost 23-20 to the Los Angeles Rams. In the game in which Burrow wore this jersey, the Bengals defeated the Denver Broncos in an away game by 15-10. The unwashed jersey is covered in use, especially with numerous grass stains. The body of the jersey is 91% nylon and 9% Spandex. The white jersey has orange and black trim. The front has an NFL patch below the neck. Under the patch is "BENGALS" in orange letters. Underneath that is "9," in black trimmed in orange. Each sleeve has black "Tiger" stripes, and below the stripes an orange Nike Swoosh. The jersey has both size "42" and "2021" year tagging in the neck. Also in the neck is the embroidered signature of Hall of Famer Paul E. Brown. There is a Captain "C" patch on the right chest. The back has "BURROW" in black block letters, and below that is "9" in black trimmed in orange. The jersey is also photo matched. Burrow could have a very long and successful career, based on his thoughtful and feet-on-the-ground analysis of what it takes to be a successful NFL quarterback: "I think people underestimate the power of just wanting to do it, and hard work, and competitive spirit and preparation," said Burrow. This offer represents a great chance to own the game worn jersey of a potential superstar at the beginning of what could be a record setting career.
