One of the best and earliest Harry Houdini signed photos you will ever see. He is just 28 years old in this rich, sepia photograph, just returning from his successful European tour and ready to rise to a level of fame and fortune he only dreamed of achieving. Houdini was the greatest escape artist and one of the finest performers of the innocent time early in the 20th century. This is before they had the entertainment choices that would come later in the century. His act was particularly appealing; creating an excitement that electrified the masses. Small photograph (3.25x5.5”) encased in a rag paper folder, opened measures 11x20”. Signed “with best wishes, Harry Houdini” autograph is MINT overall condition is EX-MT.
