1904 New York Giants Team Composite Postcard

1904 New York Giants Team Composite Postcard

There was no World Series in 1904 as the National League champion New York Giants refused to play the A.L. champion Boston Americans. This postcard commemorating that ballclub features photos by Carl Horner, many of which were used for the T206 cards, including Hall of Famers John McGraw, Iron Joe McGinnity and Roger Bresnahan. This was issued by the U.S. Souvenir Postcard Company from New York and it is unposted in EX condition. The Giants are still generally acknowledged as the champs of 1904 despite not participating in a World Series.
