1904 Syracuse Match Safe With Baseball Football & Boxing Theme & Gibson Girl
From the halls of Syracuse University comes this 1904 sterling silver (marked inside) match safe. The artwork on the front shows a Gibson girl portrait intertwined with boxing gloves, a football, baseball bat, golf club and a couple of foils. There's also a pennant that displays "SYRACUSE." The reverse features the words "ALMA MATER" with books and an owl. It measures 2x2.5" and is in EX-MT condition.
