1905 Philadelphia Athletics Team Pin-Back Button
Rare and desirable early pin featuring the 1905 Philadelphia Athletics. Superb image includes 20 team members in this posed shot, including legendary manager Connie Mack along with Chief Bender, Rube Waddell, Eddie Plank, and the rest of that year's American League Championship squad. Measures 1.75" in diameter, has small abrasion at the left side and slight disfiguration at the right side; otherwise very clean and crisp. Some oxidation and perhaps a touch of rust on the metal backing and pin, but still a great piece, especially considering its age.
