With its all-year sunshine, Puerto Rican baseball thrived after the turn of the century. This remarkable 9 by 7-inch original from the 1905 season freezes the Santurce Invisibles in a casual pose. The clarity and condition border on unreal for this ancient a picture. Note the separated S and I on the jersey. Just in case anybody thought the team's name was Yes, we guess.
