1907 Ty Cobb Wolverine News ROOKIE Postcard (SGC Authentic)
One of the few known specimens of this fervently desired Ty Cobb "Rookie". From the essential Wolverine News Detroit Tigers postcard set, it is considered by many to be Ty Cobb's true rookie card along with other postcard and tobacco card issues. Regardless, as important a Cobb issue as there is. A facial, it is the graphic superior of the two 1907 Ty Cobb Wolverine issues. Postcard is unposted, and is slabbed and graded "Authentic" by SGC. Some creasing and paper loss on this important issue of arguably the greatest baseballer in history. None have sold publicly in the last few years but prior sales range from $3,000-10,000.
