Journalist Harry Ellard published his quintessential book, “Base Ball in Cincinnati,” in 1907, and baseball fans are still all the richer for it, compiling detailed and engrossing histories of America’s favorite pastime, centered in Cincinnati, where Ellard saw it all first hand, as it was an Ellard relative who helped form the Cincinnati Red Stockings. This very important baseball book is in VG-EX condition and is the first we have handled in some time. Some slight flaws are the spotting and wear on its cover, two photo pages which are disconnected yet still in their proper place, and some pencil marks on very back page.
