1908 San Francisco Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Collection of Ephemera & Photographs (5 pieces)
An interesting collection covering the San Francisco Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals from the early 1900's. First up is an actual published newsletter from the SFSPCA dated 1908. Four photos include: An 8"x12" print of an animal drinking fountain dedication in 1911. A 3.5"x3.5" photo of officials coming to the aid of a fallen horse. An 8"x9" print of an official horse and an adorable dog drinking from a public trough (has a sizeable chunk missing from the left hand side). An 8.5”x 6.5” print of SFSPCA horse drawn ambulance carrying two officials and a horse. A great collection for animal lovers.
