1909 Jack Johnson v. Al Kaufman Fight Contract w/Perfect "10" Signature (PSA & SGC)

The first African-American World Heavyweight Boxing Champion, Jack Johnson fought Al Kaufman for the crown on September 9, 1909, at San Francisco's Mission Street Arena, winning easily. Here is the fight contract, featuring a large, bold Jack Johnson 10/10 signature. It is also signed by Morris Levy for Al Kaufman, and J.W Coffroth, on J.W Coffroth Enterprises letterhead. The contract is dated "Frisco, August 24/09," measures 8.5x8.5" and is stapled to green heavy stock paper. There is minor creasing and minuscule tears on the edges. It has been folded, but that does not affect display quality. Comes with SGC and PSA LOAs.
