The racism of boxing fans that was stirred up by the African heritage of the Heavyweight Champ is made apparent than in this pair of cards printed in the weeks before the famed Reno bout. Vintage ink on back of "Light" card reads, "Who have you got your money on?" "Dark" reads, "Their (sic) will be no dark Fourth of July. Belive (sic) me." Wrong! Definitely among the most interesting of the extremely limited memorabilia to survive from this fight.
