1910 Pittsburgh Pirates Original Team Composite w/Honus Wagner
Fantastic composite image includes no less than 31 members of the 1910 Pittsburgh Pirates. Mounted on card stock and measuring 9x7", each player is individually depicted in four rows of eight "posed action" shots; the middle slot in the second row has just one image spread over two slots with the bottom listing "Pittsburg (sic) Team," but identifies each player along with a helpful number which is also on that player's picture: Honus Wagner occupies image number 19, with others including; Hyatt, Leach, Gibson, Powell, Leifield, Webb, Gray, Phillippe, Abby, Moore, Frock, Clark, Miller, Cutting, Thorpe, Bridges, Wilson, Brandon, Adams, Maddox, O'Connor, Byrne, McKenzie, Cammitz, Campbell, Humphries, Camnitz, Simon, Leever, and Flynn. Images present in a sepia tone with some fading but most show clearly, though the bottom right corner has significantly darkened, impacting the image of #31 (Flynn), while others on the bottom row exhibit darkening along the base. Led by Wagner's .320 batting average, the Pirates finished 86-67-1, good enough for third place in the National League.
