1910 "Stars of the Prize Ring" Cardboard Advertising Poster
An important advertising poster published in 1910 which features photographic representations of most of the important stars of the time, both present and retired. Included are John L. Sullivan, Robert Fitzsimmons, Jim Jeffries, Joe Gans, Jack Johnson, Tom Sharkey and many others. The poster features crisp images of the fighters in fight poses. It is cardboard measuring 24 x 27. The poster has some minor edge and corner wear and some minor spots. Overall excellent condition. Quite rare, the only example we have seen to date.
