1910s-1960 Japanese Baseball Memorabilia Collection w/Rare 1913-1914 Doc White World Tour Postcard

Diverse collection of rare baseball memorabilia originating from Japan. <strong>1)</strong> The highlight is a rare photo postcard of White Sox pitcher Doc White issued during the 1913-1914 World Tour. The postcard bears Japanese text on both the front and reverse. The only other player postcard from the tour we have seen is that of John McGraw. The card (3.5x5.5") has not been addressed or mailed, but both a price and the notation "Chicago Team - White" are written on the reverse in pencil. The postcard was produced with layered paper, with some of the layers showing slight separation along the edges. Excellent condition overall. <strong>2) </strong>Circa 1910 photo postcard picturing the 1910 World Champion Philadelphia Athletics. The players are identified in English along the base, but the remaining text is in Japanese.&nbsp;The card (3.5x5.5") has not been addressed or mailed, but both a price and the notation "Philadelphia Team" are written on the reverse in pencil. The postcard was produced with layered paper, with some of the layers showing slight separation along the edges. Excellent condition overall. <strong>3)</strong> Circa 1949 San Francisco Seals photo card. This is the only example of this card we have ever seen. The large-format card (8.5x6") pictures twenty-three team members, all of whom are identified in Japanese Katakana over their respective images. The Seals toured Japan following the 1949 season. Very Good condition overall. <strong>4)</strong> 1953 Yogi Berra premium card. The large-format card (7.25x10.25") pictures Berra in a catching pose and features his name in Japanese Katakana in the lower left corner. Berra traveled with a team of Unites States players, led by Eddie Lopat, on a 1953 tour of Japan. In Very Good condition with a few light creases. <strong>5)</strong>&nbsp;<span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Full ticket for a San Francisco Giants 1960 tour of Japan game.This rare ticket was issued for a game played at Heiwadai Stadium in Fukuoka onNovember 8, 1960. The Giants won the game 8-4 with the help of home runs fromWillie Mays, Willie McCovey, and Orlando Cepeda. The ticket (7.25x2.5&rdquo;)displays a rounded lower-left corner and light staining. In Good to Very Goodcondition overall.</span>
