1910s Baseball Ink Well

1910s Baseball Ink Well

What would "seem" like a baseball is actually an ink well housed inside a cast iron ornamental ball, with the top seam opening up to reveal the glass liner and reservoir. The baseball is coated with vintage white paint while the base is gold colored and resembles an infield with bags at the three bases. The heavy artifact measures roughly four inches in diameter. There is a 1913 patent date on the bottom and the overall condition is Very Good.
