1910s Honus Wagner Cigar Box
With eight batting titles under his belt, Honus Wagner could definitely make the claim he was king of the diamond. And that's exactly what's printed atop this vintage wooden cigar box from roughly a century ago, as the brand name and Hall of Famer tie in with each other perfectly. The 11x6" box features paper labels both inside and out, the inner label is VG with a few stains, but featuring beautiful colors and a real photo of Wagner smack in the center. The outer label displays the same design but with more wear and some chipping, though it is still visible with the same image of Wagner. This piece puts to rest the myth that Wagner was against smoking. Overall, the box has some wear but is fully intact and is a priceless treasure.
