1910s League Park Figural Stadium Seat

1910s League Park Figural Stadium Seat

One of the rarest of all the major stadiums. League Park, home to the Cleveland Indians, the Negro American League Cleveland Buckeyes, and many other baseball and football teams. No one "sold" stadium relics back in the 1910s when the previously wooden League Park was rebuilt with concrete and steel, and rarely in 1951 when League Park was demolished, so few of these beautiful stadium seats remain in existence. Original black paint with remnants of green. Figural side (Art Noveau). The metal art work suggests ivy crawling up the side of the seat, and fittingly the "ivy" has a green patina. The figural seat also exhibits an artistically crafted baseball.
