1910s Terrific Ty Cobb Glass Plate Negative
Spectacular glass plate negative depicts Ty Cobb posed with bat from the 1910s. As rare as it gets; vintage Type I prints of this image sell for five figures and this negative is one-of-a-kind and rarer than any vintage print. Awesome image measures 5x7" and - to be clear - there is only one of these on the planet. Despite his extraordinary hitting prowess, Cobb won just one MVP title, in 1911, and this photo dates from that period. Another unearthed gem from the Brown Brothers photo archive collection.
