1911 Detroit Tigers Imperial Photograph with Ty Cobb
This portrait photo of the 1911 Detroit Tigers features a number of baseball greats including the incomparable Ty Cobb. The 20x15" framed and double-matted photo by D. Spellman of Detroit shows the team sitting/standing four rows deep bedecked in handsome suits. The mount and corners of the mount are not exposed so a full grade cannot be applied, but the item otherwise appears NRMT. Includes "Detroit Baseball Club 1911" written on the bottom middle. Photographed players include Ty Cobb, George Moriarty, Sam Crawford, George Mullin, Bill Donovan and manager Hughie Jennings.
