1911 Gotch-Hakenschmidt Panoramic Print
A marvelous image of the "Frank Gotch- Georg Hakenschmidt World's Championship Wrestling Match at White Sox Ball Park on September 4, 1911." In the original frame, it measures 27.5" x 11.5" and is in EX+ condition. It features a great inset image of the grapplers. The German-born Gotch defeated the Russian in this second meeting between the two, with the match drawing a crowd of nearly 30,000 spectators and a record gate of $87,000 to Chicago's newest baseball stadium.
