1911 T205 Gold Border Walter Johnson - PSA NM-MT 8
Graded by PSA NM-MT 8. Sharp cornered, full gold border, well centered both front and back with a crisply focused image of "The Big Train" Walter Johnson. One of only FOUR graded at this levels by PSA, with none higher. High grade Hall of Famer cards are very much in high demand, but this isn't a 1957 Topps card, this is a 1911 T205 Gold Border card of one of the original five Hall of Fame inductees. 1911 T205 Gold border cards were produced at significantly reduced levels than their T206 White Border counterparts, and there is a dearth of high grade examples. According to Vintage Card Prices (VCP), the last example graded at PSA 8 sold in 2008 for $48,000. Another Gold Border Johnson card in this grade might not be offered for another decade. PSA NM-MT 8.
