1911 World Champions Philadelphia Athletics Advertising Print

One year after winning their first World Series in 1910, the Philadelphia Athletics repeated the feat in 1911, defeating the New York Giants in six games to cap off a 101-50 regular season. This terrific panoramic shot was from the Limper and McCartney Photo Service, measures roughly 12.5x5" and is in EX-MT condition. Under manager/owner Connie Mack, the A's team consisted of the "$100,000" infield: Eddie Collins, Jack Barry, John "Stuffy" McInnis, Frank Baker, Eddie Plank and Charles "Chief" Bender.
