1911 World Series Ticket Stub At Shibe Park
The New York Giants went down with the ship to Connie Mack's mighty A's of Philadelphia a year before the Titanic would follow. Extremely rare ticket from that final game on October 26 at Shibe Park is first we can recall seeing. There is some creasing but otherwise is very clean and complete. Game 3 means the third game at the American League park, directly linking it to the clincher, which turned out to be a 13-2 rout thanks to the incomparable Chief Bender's amazing four-hitter.
