This rare keepsake provides a window back in time to the birth of one of baseball's early dynasties. The team of the decade would capture World Series glory in 1912,'15, '16, and '18. Paying homage to Boston's first title of the 1910s and the inaugural season of Fenway Park, the "Red Sox Champions 1912" silk depicts head shots of star players Wood, Speaker, Stahl, Wagner, and Carrigan; a team panoramic taken at the inaugural game at Fenway Park; and another image of game action at Fenway Park. This rare regional issue is a "Wright and Ditson" creation which is matted and framed to 25.5x25.5" (17.5x17.5" visible in frame). In extraordinary good condition with vibrant colors.
