1912 Ivan Nova Game Worn Yankees Throwback Uniform - 20th Career Win (Steiner)
Game Worn Ivan Nova 1912 throwback Yankees uniform from April 20th 2012 against the rival Boston Red Sox where he earned his 20th career win this game as he gave up 2 runs on 5 hits allowing no walks and striking out 5. Celebrating 100 years on NY baseball the Yankees wore these tremendous 1912 throwback jerseys of the New York Highlanders. The Highlanders only lasted til the end of the 1912 season until the name Yankees would take over exclusively. The famous curved "NY" was also moved from the sleeve to the front as this jersey displays and is in fact felt. There is no number on the back of the jersey, just as there wasn't in 1912. The Cap has a handwritten "47" under the brim. The jersey tail tagging reads "47 50 1912". The cap jersey and pants each have a Steiner and MLB hologram. Comes with a Steiner LOA for each item as well.
